Georg Asplund (1873-1963)
Keramik och porslinsmålare, född i Stockholm. Asplund anställdes 1890 vid Rörstrands porslinsfabrik (som till 1926 låg i Stockholm) som formgivare och dekormålare. Han formgav både kakelugnar, kakelplattor och prydnadsföremål. År 1911 anställdes han som konstnär och arbetsledare vid Gefle Porslinsfabrik där han formgav ett flertal serviser med dekornamn som till exempel Nore, Britta och Lena (bilder). Hans dekorer signerades G.A. Han slutade sin anställning på fabriken omkring 1917.
